Volumes createaldvv The behavior of the –cnt option has changed. By
default use of the –cnt will create multiple
volumes that do not share underlying logical disks.
Also, users can now create multiple volumes that
extend an existing sequence of volumes by
specifying the –cnt option and last volume of the
existing sequence.
New –shared option specifies that the system
should attempt to share underlying logical disks
when creating multiple volumes.
New –retain option provides the ability to specify a
minimum retention time for a volume.
New –exp option provides the ability to specify
when a volume will expire.
New –comment option allows for annotation of
volumes.
Support for Zero Detection policy for base thin
provisioned volumes
Support for retention and expiration times for
volumes.
