InForm OS Version 2.3.1 3PAR InForm Operating System Release Notes
Volume Management
■ The limit of 64 VVs per CPG has been removed.
■ The number of volumes that can be specified using
the –cnt option is now 999 for all commands.
■ Added support for RAID 6.
Blocks showblock ■ The command syntax has changed. When specifying
the space for a virtual volume to display, the
allowed values are usr, snp, and adm rather than
usr, sd, and sa.
■ The output of the command has changed The
possible values that can appear in the Spc column
when displaying virtual volumes are usr, snp, and
adm rather than usr, sd, and sa.
CPGs createcpg The –sa, –sd, and -aw options to the createcpg
command have been deprecated and will be
removed in a future release.
removecpg ■ The –keepld and –ld options have been removed.
■ The –sa, and –sd options have been deprecated and
will be removed in a future release.
setcpg ■ Added the ability to rename CPGs.
