Host Management
Hosts createhost ■ New –persona option provides the ability to specify
a host persona. Host Personas allow for the selection
of certain variations in SCSI command behavior which
certain operating systems expect.
■ Added support for Host Agents. If the agent
software is installed on a host, it will provide
additional information about that host to the InServ
Storage Server. This information also allows for
creation of hosts by automatically assigning all
discovered host paths to the host rather than having
the user add the paths manually.
■ Added support for domain sets. Hosts can be
created in a specific domain or in a domain set.
■ WWNs can now be entered in colon separated
format (e.g. AA:BB:CC…) in addition to the
previously supported syntax.
