promotesv ■ New –target option provides the ability to promote
Virtual Copies to any Read-Write parent in the same
Virtual Volume family tree.
■ The command has been enhanced to allow users to
specify sets of virtual copies to be promoted rather
than a single virtual copy.
Physical Copy createvvcopy The command has been enhanced to allow users to
specify sets of volumes to be copied rather than a
single volume. The command also takes a pattern as
input that is used to generate the names of the
resulting physical copies.
promotevvcopy The command has been enhanced to allow users to
specify sets of physical copies to be promoted rather
than a single physical copy.
Domain Management
Domains createdomain New –vvretentiontimemax option provides the
ability to set the maximum retention time for
volumes within a domain. The default is 14 days. To
disable the volume retention time in the domain, set
the maximum retention time to 0.
movetodomain ■ The command has been enhanced to support
domainsets.
■ The output of the command will include
information about any host sets or virtual volume
sets that are affected by the move operation.
setdomain New –vvretentiontimemax option provides the
