Ports controlport The persona subcommand has been removed since
port personas have been removed. See the
createhost and sethost commands for setting
host personas and the controlport config
command for setting port parameters.
New config subcommand provides the ability to set
connection modes and types on FC ports.
The –m option to the controlport rst command
has been deprecated and will be removed in a
future release. Use controlport config to set
target (host) or initiator (disk) modes.
The ct and cl2 subcommands have been
deprecated and will be removed in a future release.
showport The output of the showport command has changed
to include a total line at the bottom which indicates
the total number of ports displayed.
The output of the showport –par command has
changed.
New Connmode column displays the connection
mode and can be either rcfc, host, or disk.
New UniqNodeWwn column displays whether
the Unique WWN property is set on the port.
When this property is enabled, the port presents
a unique node name on the connection. This is
needed by certain initiators such as ONTAP.
The Persona column has been removed.
New –state option provides detailed state
information.
showportlesb The output of the showportlesb command has
changed.
A new Port_WWN column is displayed which
provides the WWN of each device displayed.
