InForm OS Version 2.3.1 3PAR InForm Operating System Release Notes
42323 The servicehost list command
could fail due to results being too
large.
If the number of old hosts remembered (as
shown by servicehost list) grew extremely
large, servicehost list and
servicehost
remove would fail.
The system has been enhanced to automatically
remove these in standard situations to help
prevent this list from growing too large.
42958 CIM Server will not respond to
connection attempts from the CIM
Client.
The CIM server failed to respond to customer's
CIM client as the number of open socket
descriptors had reached its maximum. This was
due to defects that caused sockets not to be
closed once they were no longer in use.
43027 Request that the InServ Storage
Server sends notification to AIX
hosts upon a virtual volume resize.
When the size of a volume that is exported to a
host is increased, the InServ Storage Server
issues a new SCSI check condition indication to
the host so that the host can automatically
detect the size of the volume has increased.
Previously, a command had to be issued on the
host for it to detect that the volume size has
changed.
43053 Constrain virtual volumes to be
exported to only one host.
The onehost policy may now be modified with
setvv using the -pol option: -pol [,...]
This constrains the export of a volume to one
host or one host cluster (when cluster names
may be used as a host name).
43244 Failed memory allocation can cause
an SNMP agent fatal error.
Data from memory allocation calls was not
being correctly checked in the SNMP agent
code.
43430 Recovery of a single node shutdown
may fail if a snapshot is being
removed.
There was a small window where snapshot
removal code path may fail due to a single
node down.
