3PAR InForm Operating System Release Notes InForm OS Version 2.3.1
36597 Batteries near expiration prevent
battery testing.
Batteries in the expiration warning period were
being treated as expired batteries when testing
batteries. This prevented them from being
tested and lead to them being marked
degraded/unknown once 3 weeks from the
most recent test had elapsed.
36815 A stale snapshot occurred on the
secondary side of a Remote Copy
system.
With this release, TPVV data space and
snapshot space are separated, resolving this
issue.
36846 CIM Server failed while loading
provider dynamic libraries
A defect in code that loads the dynamic
libraries for each of the CIM providers could
cause the CIM Server to fail.
37113 HP OpenView detects the InServ
Storage Server as a router.
The SNMP agent now does not identify the
InServ Storage Server as a router, but still
performs port forwarding as it is needed by the
Service Processor.
37340 Resource exhaustion in
2-port 4GB Fibre Channel adapter
causes CPU to become 100% busy
leading to controller node restart.
There was a bug in the 2-port 4GB Fibre
Channel adapter firmware that can result in the
port firmware leaking resources used for
sending Extended Link Services (ELS)
commands. When all the resources are
exhausted, the driver for the adapter could
keep continually retrying to send ELS
commands and resulting in the controller node
going offline.
This has been fixed by resetting the adapter
port if the resource leak is detected.
