3PAR InForm Operating System Release Notes InForm OS Version 2.3.1
34981 GetInstance() of
ProtocolControllerForUnit takes
too long on systems with many
VLUNs.
On systems with a large number of VLUNs, a
call to GetInstance() to retrieve the
information was taking a very long time to
return.
The code was optimized to improve response
time.
35006 Associator calls related to
TPD_DiskDrive take too long on
systems with a large number of
disks.
When a CIM client makes an Associator call to
gather information about how certain classes
are related to TPD_DiskDrive instances, such
calls could take a long time to return on
systems with a large number of disks.
The code was optimized to improve response
time.
35087 System manager restart due to
requesting volume statistics.
The CLI or IMC requesting volume statistics
could cause the system manager to restart.
35761 Invalid packet from LSI Fibre
Channel adapter causes controller
node to restart.
The LSI Fibre Channel adapter firmware
occasionally sends an interrupt packet with an
invalid field. This could result in the controller
node going offline.
This has been fixed by checking the interrupt
packet fields for validity before using them.

3PAR Fibre Channel Adapter
firmware cores - firmware traps
0xf202000a and 0x50000008, 3PAR
Fibre Channel Adapter firmware,
Rev 1.30.A.6.
Under certain error conditions, the 3PAR
FC044X Fibre Channel adapter firmware would
return a fatal error resulting in a firmware core
dump being generated.
This has been fixed by adding more error
handling in the firmware that avoids the
firmware taking a fatal error trap.
