2.5.4.7 CIM API Enhancements
In addition to its previous capabilities, the InForm CIM API now supports the following
features.
2.5.4.7.1 New Features
Features Description
Cage Subsystem ■ A new DiskSpeed property has been added to the
TPD_DiskDrive class.
■ There is now a single TPD_DiskDrive and
TPD_Magazine class rather than specific classes for
each cage type.
■ The subclasses of TPD_CageInterfaceCard and
TPD_DriveCage classes have been changed to merge
all properties underneath common DC1Family,
DC2Family, and DC3Family classes.
Copy Services ■ Support for all capabilities of Physical Copies and
Virtual Copies.
■ Support for creating multiple RW virtual copy from a
single RO virtual copy.
Host Management New 3PAR CIM API extensions that allow for
assignment of Host Personas.
Performance Management Support for Array and Node statistics have been
added to the Block Server Performance subprofile
providers.
