3PAR InForm Operating System Release Notes InForm OS Version 2.3.1 MU1
47717 Problem with SATA Bridge Chip on
LBOD (S-Class) and MBOD (T-Class
drive chassis.
New FW fixes a hang issue found on
the FC-SATA bridge chip on the
magazines for Nearline drives in LBOD
(S-Class) and MBOD (T-Class) drive
chassis.
47721 CopySpace volume becomes
fragmented after numerous
CopySpaceReclaim operations.
In some extreme cases, a SnapCopy
volume could become fragmented
and cause performance issues.
The CopySpace volume grow code
path has been altered to refill the
previous reclaimed space before
performing a new CopySpace volume
grow.
47731 Resource leak on LSI, 2Gb/s Fibre
Channel HBAs used on S and E-Class
InServ Storage Servers.
The LSI driver was not replenishing
target command buffers back to the
firmware if the initiator that issued
the SCSI command logged out while
the driver was processing the
command. This leak condition could
eventually render the LSI port
unusable for servicing host I/O.
48297 Node lockup due to excessive
Control Cache Correctable ECC
errors.
In a rare failure mode, a persistent
correctable error could occur in a
frequently accessed section of
memory. A BIOS bug introduced into
2.2.4 prevented control cache DIMM
correctable ECC errors from being
temporarily masked (throttled) when
they occurred.
The bug has been fixed and protection
against correctable ECC storms has
been restored.
