This implementation guide provides information for establishing communications between an

InServ® Storage Server and a AIX 7.1, 6.1, and AIX 5.3 platforms. General information is also

provided on the basic steps required to allocate storage on the InServ Storage Server that can

then be accessed by the AIX host.

The information contained in this implementation guide is the outcome of careful testing of

the 3PAR InServ Storage Server with as many representative hardware and software

configurations as possible.
