What’s New in the Service Processor
This release includes all previously released SP 4.1 patches, P001 and P002. Additionally, both
the Moment of Birth (MOB) process and the SP Setup Wizard now verify connectivity to the global
access servers (GAS).
Modifications to the Service Processor
The following issues have been addressed in this release.

An issue was noted in which the Storage Setup Wizard interface
closed but the browser window did not when a user clicked the Finish

(SmartStart) for the SP setup process, remote connectivity is verified

from the Service Processor to the remote HP servers. If you configured
a proxy server, connectivity using the proxy server is also verified.
Connectivity tests to the global access servers and proxy server are
also included in the Test HP 3PAR Secure Service Collector Server
options of SPMAINT, CPMAINT, and SPOCC. You will be informed
of any connectivity test failures.
A valid password is between 7 and 32 characters long and uses only
alphanumeric characters and the following special characters:

Known Issues in the Service Processor
SP Setup Wizard does not allow .local top level domain when configuring DNS (Issue
82980)
When invoked from either SmartStart or directly from a browser, the SP Setup Wizard does not
allow users to specify a DNS domain name that has a domain name extension greater than four
characters.
Workaround: Disable DNS when using the SP Setup Wizard and configure DNS after the SP Setup
Wizard has completed. You can configure DNS by logging into the SP as "3parcust" using SSH.
Or, log in to the console and use SPMAINT. Select 2 for Network Configuration and then 9 for
