1 Introduction

The HP 3PAR Service Processor Software 2.5.x Release Notes document is cumulative and includes

subsequent updates relating to the base release of Service Processor Software 2.5.1.

This document should be read prior to the installation of the SP 2.5.x Software.

IMPORTANT: HP 3PAR Service Processor Software 2.5.x patches are cumulative and must be

installed in the specific numerical order as listed in this document. If an SP 2.5.x patch is applied

out of numerical order (for example, applying SP 2.5.2 P001 after SP 2.5.2 P002 has been

applied), you must rebuild the Service Processor and apply the patches in the correct order.

NOTE: The InServ Storage Server has been rebranded as HP 3PAR Storage System. There are

instances in this document where menu items and command output refer to the HP 3PAR Storage

System as “InServ” or “InServ Storage Server.”
