Under the heading “Enabling and disabling NPIV” on page 333, change the Note to the following:
NOTE
The FC10-6 port blade and the CEE ports on the Brocade 8000 do not support NPIV.
Chapter 17, Administering Advanced Performance Monitoring
In Table 91 on page 402, add the Brocade 8000 to the last row in the table, and add a footnote.
Table 91 should be as follows:
On page 401, change the note after Table 91 to the following:
NOTE
The command examples in this chapter use the slot/port syntax required by Brocade 48000
and Brocade DCX platforms. For Brocade 200E, 300, 4100, 4900, 5000, 5100, 5300, 7500,
7500E, 7600, and 8000 switches, use only the port number where needed in the commands.
Under the heading “End-to-end monitors” on page 402, change the first sentence to the following:
The Brocade 4100, 4900, 5000, 5100, 5300, 7500, 7500E, 7600, 8000, and 48000 models
allow up to 256 end-to-end monitors shared by all ports in the same ASIC chip.
Under the heading “Filter-based performance monitoring” on page 406, change the third
paragraph to the following:
For the Brocade 4100, 4900, 5000, 5100, 5300, 7500, 7500E, 7600, 8000, and Brocade
DCX models, the maximum number of filters is 12 per port, in any combination of standard
filters and user-defined filters.
Under the heading “Custom filter-based monitors” on page 407, change the fifth bullet to the
following:
• Brocade 4100, 4900, 5000, 5100, 5300, 7500, 7500E, 7600, 8000, 48000, and
Brocade DCX platforms
Up to 15 different offsets per port (14 offsets when FICON Management Server mode, or
fmsmode, is enabled).
