The HP LaserJet M9040/M9050 MFP is more than
just a multifunction device. With added printing and
imaging solutions, these devices are designed to
improve document-intensive processes, accelerate
business results and enhance user efficiency.
HP Secure Erase technology — Built-in security capabilities safely erase job files
and histories from the hard disk in three methods:
• All associated files can be overwritten upon job completion
• User data stored in the form of Proof and Hold, Quick Copy, and Stored Jobs
can be overwritten at specific time intervals
• Overwrite the entire contents of the hard drive when it is decommissioned
or redeployed
Private printing — Four standard and one optional job retention features
enable private printing:
Proof and hold — Quick and easy way to print one copy and proof it before
printing the remaining copies.
Personal Job — Protects confidential documents. Job will not be printed
until released with a 4-digit Personal Identification Number (PIN).
Quick Copy — Prints the requested number of copies of a job and stores
a copy on the laser MFP’s hard disk for future printing.
Stored Job — Allows download of a print job to the laser MFP’s hard disk to be
printed when required.
Pull Printing — Saves document electronically in the device, or on a server,
until authorised user is ready to retrieve and print.
