application. A Smart Relay Assembly originally purchased to control one device may not control
three devices without reprogramming the PIC. The PIC will have a label imprinted with
SIMPLE1, SIMPLE2, or SIMPLE3 to indicate whether it is programmed to control 1, 2, or 3
devices.
Smart Relay Assemblies do not utilize the Pedestal I/O Board and FMU Auto/Manual Switches
when controlling devices. Control wires are wired direct into the Smart Relay Assembly.
Auto/manual switches specifically for use with the Smart Relay Assembly are installed on the
board.
