12. For customer training - administrative operations: setting up passwords, users, and user access
(Chapter 13: Administration).
13. For customer training - software tools: using Console, query Polling Reports, Batch Encoding,
Manual Entry Transactions, Inventory Editor, Archive, Adjust Price Levels, Database Manager
setup (Chapter 14: FuelMaster

Tools).
14. For customer training, database maintenance and utilities: delete records, recover transactions,
transaction lookup tool, modify transactions, recover export transactions (Chapter 15: Database
Utilities).
Configure Master FMU for EIU Operation
When an EIU is installed, it is connected to a master FMU via RS-422 the same as other satellite
FMUs. The master FMU defaults to satellite FMU operation. It must be programmed for EIU
operation. Make a laptop connection in accordance with Appendix D, and perform the following:
1. Enter a 3d command. The following will be displayed (TES is the FMU name stored in memory):
