Installing a hard drive

To install the hard drive:

1. Align the hard drive in the hard drive bay, and then lower the hard drive (1) into the hard drive

bay until the hard drive connector is seated.

2. Tighten the 4 screws (2) to secure the hard drive.

Align the tabs on the hard drive cover (1) with the notches on the computer.

4. Slide the hard drive cover (2) into place, and then tighten the 2 screws (3).

5. Replace the battery. (Refer to Inserting or removing the battery on page 25.)
