Method one: Use the Save to Network Folder Setup page
Use this method for complete conguration of the Scan to Network Folder feature.
Step one: Enable the Scan to Network Folder feature and congure the default job options

Step one: Enable the Scan to Network Folder feature and congure the default job options
1. Click the Scan/Digital Send tab.
2. On the left navigation menu, click the Save to Network Folder Setup link.
3. On the Save to Network Folder Setup dialog, select the Enable Save to Network Folder check box. If this box
is not selected, the feature is unavailable at the printer control panel.
Complete the elds in all the dialogs on the page.

On the Notication Settings dialog, select one of these options:
NOTE: In order to send notication emails, the printer must be set up to use an SMTP server for sending email
jobs.
Option one: Do not notify
1. Select Do not notify.
2. To prompt the user to review their notication settings, select Prompt user prior to job start, and then
click Next.
Option two: Notify when job completes
1. Select Notify when job completes.
2. Select the method for delivering the notication from the Method Used to Deliver Notication list.
If the method of notication selected is E-mail, type the email address in the Notication E-mail
Address eld.
3. To include a thumbnail of the rst scanned page in the notication, select Include Thumbnail.
4. To prompt the user to review their notication settings, select Prompt user prior to job start, and then
click Next.
