WARNING!
To reduce the risk of personal injury or damage to the
equipment, follow these recommendations:
• The HP ExDS9100cx weighs at least 135.9 kg (299 lb);
therefore, use an appropriate lifting device to lift, move, and
install the component.
• The HP ExDS9100c weighs at least 27.16 kg (60 lb); therefore,
use two people to lift, move, and install the component.
• Always extend only one component at a time. A rack may
become unstable if more than one component is extended for
any reason.
CAUTION:
When handling system components, there is a danger to
equipment from electrostatic discharge (ESD). Use proper
anti-static protection at all times:
• Keep the replacement component in the ESD bag until needed.
• Wear an ESD wrist strap grounded to an unpainted surface
of the chassis.
• Touch an unpainted surface of the chassis before handling the
component.
• Never touch connector pins.
