SAS switch module management firmware 1.1.8.0 changes since version 1.1.6.0
• Fix for possible port map issue that may disable a data path between a server blade and the SAS
switch
• Fix to firmware upgrade process to avoid a potential upgrade lockup issue
Added an exdsmgr command to delete the alert history
This command allows you to purge the alert history. The syntax is:
delete alert history <number>|<range>|all
The exds_stdiag command now shows the percent of parity initialization of a
degraded LUN.
If a LUN is in the parity initialization state and a disk failure occurs, the parity initialization progress
was not visible. The exds_stdiag command now shows the percent of parity initialization of a
degraded LUN. After parity initialization completes, the LUN rebuilds to a spare disk.
Do not connect the Virtual Connect in Bay 2 to your site network
Do not connect the Virtual Connect in Bay 2 to the external network. This means you should not
configure eth1; use eth2 or eth3 instead.

HP StorageWorks 9100 Extreme Data Storage System 1.0 or 1.0.1
Fixes
Fixes in 1.0.2
The 1.0.2 release includes fixes for the following issues:
• 25753: The exdsmgr show vnfs command did not show details when there are multiple clients
in an export record. The command now correctly shows this data.
• 26077: Sometimes, escalate did not include exds_stdiag output in tarball. This has been fixed.
• 26286: An inappropriate blocksize was used for filesystems. The I/O performance is now improved
by correctly setting the blocksize. This fix only applies to filesystems created on V1.0.2 systems.
Filesystem created prior to this release are not modified.
• 26298: A data corruption bug in large blocksize filesystems has been fixed. The problem was
that the system might not invalidate all dirty user pages after a write rollback.
Fixes in 1.0.1
The 1.0.1 release includes fixes for the following issues:
• 25038: Fixed a problem that caused all disk drives to be in the "removed" state after ExDS9100cc
controller hang.
