3. Install the server blade.
4. Run the exdsmgr install server n command, where n is the bay number (which is also
the server blade number). For example, for a server blade in bay 9, the command would be:
# exdsmgr install server 9
5. Reboot the server blade installed in step 4.
6. If you use the exsd_exgp_default export group, add an additional virtual host IP address. For
example, if the virtual host IP address is 16.123.123.109, use the following command:
# exdsmgr modify vnfs action=addserver server=9 vip=16.123.123.109\
network=eth2
7. If you use the vhttpd Apache service, add an additional virtual host IP address. For example, if
the virtual host IP address is 16.123.123.119, use the following command:
# exdsmgr modify vhttpd action=addserver server=9 vip=16.123.123.119\
network=eth2
8. Run the exdsmgr syscheck command. If it reports an error such as the following, you need
import public keys from /var/mxso/installmedia.
To import public keys, run this command on the newly installed server:
# rpm --import /var/mxso/installmedia/RPM-GPG-KEY*
