Step 5 — Set Samba user passwords
If necessary, set each Samba user's password by using the smbpasswd command. A Samba user
account will not be active until a Samba password is set for it.
To add a user, use the following command syntax:
smbpasswd -a <username>
where <username> is the user being added.
Do this on one server, then move the files to /var/mxso/samba/conf and create links as described
in the next section.
Step 6 — Create symbolic links
Create symbolic links for the smb passwd and users files as follows:

Step 7 — Configure virtual hosts
Each virtual Samba server can be broadcast by only one server at a time. You can configure a primary
server and one or more backup servers for each virtual server. This is done by creating a virtual host
for each virtual Samba server and then assigning the primary and backup servers to it.
The following mx vhost add command shows how to create a virtual CIFS host. In this example,
99.12.10.205 is the virtual host IP and three server blades (glory[2-4]) are to serve the virtual Samba
