Remove the card reader board:
1. Position the rear cover with the bottom toward you.
2. Detach the tape (1) that secures the card reader board to the rear cover.
3. Remove the card reader board (2) and cable.
Reverse this procedure to install the card reader board.

Before removing the fingerprint reader board, follow these steps:
1. Turn off the tablet. If you are unsure whether the tablet is off or in Hibernation, turn the tablet on,
and then shut it down through the operating system.
2. Disconnect the power from the tablet by unplugging the power cord from the tablet or the
Security Jacket.
3. Disconnect all external devices from the Security Jacket.
4. Remove the card reader cover and top cap (see
Card reader cover and Top cap on page 82).
5. If installed, remove the tablet from the Security Jacket (see
Card reader cover and Top cap
on page 82).
6. Remove the front cover (see
Front cover on page 84).
