Finding your hardware and software information
Updating the software installed on the tablet
Most software, including the operating system, is updated frequently by the manufacturer or provider.
Important updates to the software included with the tablet may have been released since the tablet left the
factory.
Some updates may affect the way the tablet responds to optional software or external devices. Many
updates provide security enhancements.
Update the operating system and other software installed on the tablet as soon as the tablet is connected to
the Internet. Access the updates on the HP website at
http://www.hp.com.
Inserting and removing a micro SIM card
CAUTION: To prevent damage to the connectors, use minimal force when inserting a micro SIM card.
To insert or remove a micro SIM card, follow these steps:
1. Shut down the tablet.
2. Disconnect all external devices connected to the tablet.
3. Unplug the power cord from the AC outlet.
4. Insert the end of a paper clip into the micro SIM slot access hole (1), and then open the access door (2).
5. Insert the micro SIM card into the micro SIM slot (3), and then push to lock it.

Push the micro SIM card again to remove it from the micro SIM slot.
