Docking board 728155-001
Before removing the docking board, follow these steps:
1. Turn off the tablet and keyboard base. If you are unsure whether the tablet and keyboard base are
off or in Hibernation, turn the tablet on, and then shut it down through the operating system.
2. Disconnect the power from the tablet and keyboard base by unplugging the power cord from the
tablet and keyboard base.
3. Disconnect the tablet from the keyboard base.
4. Remove the bottom cover (see
Bottom cover on page 36).
5. Disconnect the battery cable from the docking board (see
Battery on page 37).
6. Remove the hinge assembly (see
Hinge assembly on page 39).
Remove the docking board:
1. Disconnect the following cables from the docking board ZIF connectors:
(1) Media card reader board cable
(2) Keyboard cable
(3) TouchPad cable
2. Remove the eight Phillips PM2.0×2.5 screws (1) that secure the docking board to the keyboard/
top cover.
