国際エネルギー スター プログラムは米国環境保護局が実施している任意制度のプログラムで、企業や
個人が優れたエネルギー効率によって経費を節約し、気候を保護できるように支援します。
国際エネルギー スター プログラム認定を取得した製品は、米国環境保護局が定めるエネルギー効率の
厳しい条件または要件を満たすことで、温室効果ガスの排出量を抑制できます。当社は、国際エネル
ギー スター プログラムの事業参加者として、本製品が国際エネルギー スター プログラムの基準に適
合するように、米国環境保護局（EPA）が定める強化された製品認定プロセスに従っています。以下
のロゴは正規の国際エネルギー スター プログラム認定のすべてのコンピューターに付けられていま
す。
コンピューター製品における国際エネルギー スター プログラムの重要な要件は、製品が使用されてい
ないときにエネルギー消費を大幅に削減する電源管理機能です。電源管理によって、ユーザーが決め
られた時間使用していない状態が続くと、コンピューターが「スリープ」モードなどの省電力モード
に自動的に切り替わります。電源管理機能は、コンピューターが外部電源で動作しているときに、あ
らかじめ以下のように設定されます。
