in 2012, a notebook must meet specific
guidelines:
 Processor – Ultra low voltage
 System Thinness – 18mm for <14.0”, 21mm for 14.0”+;
2mm allowance for convertible tablet
 Responsiveness Capabilities – hibernate to keyboard input in < 7 seconds
 Battery Life – 5hrs min
 Connectivity – Hi-Speed data transfer (i.e. USB 3.0), WiFi required
