For hard drives, 1 GB = 1 billion bytes; TB = 1 trillion bytes. Actual formatted capacity is less. Up to 12 GB of
hard drive (or system disk) is reserved for the system recovery software (XP and XP Pro). Up to 3 GB of
system disk is reserved for system recovery software (Vista).
Up to 4 drives are allowed. The 4th drive will occupy one of the external 5.25" bays.
