Auto Channel Selection
When installing WL110 Wireless PC Cards the channel
configuration is managed as follows:
For wireless clients that operate in an 11 Mbps Wireless
LAN Infrastructure, the WL110 Wireless PC Card will
automatically start operation at the channel identified by
the access points. When roaming between different
access points the station can dynamically switch to
another channel if required.
For WL110 Wireless PC Cards installed into wireless
clients that operate in an “Peer-to-Peer” mode, the
WL110 PC Card will default use channel 10.
When inserted into the WL510 Wireless Enterprise
Access Point, the WL110 PC Card will use the factory-
set default channel (printed in bold), unless the LAN
Administrator selected a different channel when
configuring the access point device.
