7.1.7 HP_ComputerSystem physical identifiers and partition identifiers
Implementations that conform to this profile may populate Model with the model for the physical system.
This value shall be the same value that is or could be populated in the
HP_ComputerSystemChassis.Model property. That is, the same semantics apply for both values.
Implementations that conform to this profile may populate SerialNumber with the serial number for the
physical system. This value shall be the same value that is or could be populated in the
HP_ComputerSystemChassis.SerialNumber property. That is, the same semantics apply for both values.
Implementations that conform to this profile profile that are not partitioned systems may populate
IdentifyingNumber with the UUID for the physical system. This value shall be the same value that is or
could be populated in the HP_ComputerSystemPackage.PlatformGUID property. That is, the same
semantics apply for both values.
Partitioned systems that conform to this profile must populate IdentifyingNumber with the partition UUID
and the PartitionNumber property with the human-readable partition number. Partitioned systems may
populate HP_ComputerSystemPackage.PlatformGUID property with the UUID for the physical system.
