Installing the Belt
1. Turn the assembled PTM over so that the motor points upward (see
Figures 3-5 through 3-9).
2. Locate the tensioner ramp in the base section. Press the spring until the
hole in the tensioner ramp is aligned with a hole in the base section
(Figure 3-5). Insert a 0.050 in Allen wrench or a paper clip through the
holes. This sets the idler pulley for zero belt tension.

3. Locate the length of toothed belt that was enclosed with the extension
section (Table 3-4).
