As the submenu shows, the on the display is next to line 1, and line 2 is
indented. This tells you that it is a two-tiered menu. The
and buttons
work on two levels in this kind of menu, which is typical of many submenus of
the Configure menu. The first level is as follows: If you press the
button,
the
moves to line 3. Pressing the button again has no effect. If you press
the
button, the moves back to line 1.
If you press the
Enter
button while the is next to line 1 (or line 3), the and
buttons operate on the second level. You can tell because the moves next
to line 2 (or line 4), and an
appears at the end of line 4, indicating that there
is a list of settings that can be scrolled using the
and buttons. For
example:
To set the DLT1 Density:
1. With the
next to line 1, press the
Enter
button, moving the to line
Notice the
appears at the end of line 4.
2. Use the
and buttons to scroll line 2 to display the possible settings.
After making your selection, press the
Enter
button to save the new
selection. You can return to the Set Data Format screen by pressing the
Escape
button. The
returns to line 1.
3. This time, if you press the
button instead of the
Enter
button, the
moves to line 3, allowing you to set DLT1 Compression.
4. Press the
Escape
button repeatedly until the DLT0/DLT1 Format
submenu reappears.
Repeat this procedure for each configuration option you want to change.
