Setting MiniLibrary Base Module (Slave)
Configuration
IMPORTANT:
All MiniLibrary Base Modules are shipped configured as stand-alone
systems. Before powering up the Expansion Unit in a MiniLibrary system for the first time,
you must reconfigure each of the MiniLibrary Base Modules in the system as a slave. To
do so, perform the following procedure on each MiniLibrary Base Module.
1. Turn on the power switch to the MiniLibrary Base Module. After a
series of self-test screens, the following screen appears:
DLT0 Idle
DLT1 Idle
Loader Idle

2. Press the Enter button to display the Main menu screen:
Load/Unload
Show Status Menu
Maintenance Menu
Configure Menu
3. Press the
button three times to select the Configure menu, then press
the Enter button. The following screen appears:
Set Data Format
Set SCSI
Set Element Base
Set Identification
4. Press the
button repeatedly to select the Set Special Configuration
screen:
Set Serial Number
Set Unload Mode
Set Negotiation
Set Special Config
5. Press the Enter button. The following screen appears:
Mode Page 1F Length
