Caveats

The install module module-number bios command continues to be supported in Cisco NX-OS Release

6.2(1) on Cisco MDS 9500 Series switches.

Fabric Binding Error Message

When fabric binding is enabled, an error message appears whenever the Mainframe Package license is

not installed and also when the grace period is disabled. There is functional impact associated with the

error message and the feature is enabled correctly.

IOA Scaling Support on Supervisor-2 Module

In the Cisco MDS NX-OS Release 6.2.3, I/O Accelerator (IOA) scaling is supported only on the

Supervisor-2A module and not supported on the Supervisor-2 module.
