Symptom: Ports of a replaced switching module that are part of an existing port-channel cannot be
added as members of another port-channel.
Condition: This situation occurs when you replace the Cisco MDS 9000 Generation 2 module with
a Generation 3 module or replace a Generation 3 module with a Generation 4 module.
Workaround: After the replacement of the switching module, you must configure the same ports to
the same port-channel.
• CSCue31727
Symptom: A user with the priv-14 role does not inherit rules from the priv-0 through priv-13 roles.
Condition: This situation occurs during a normal operation.
Workaround: Create users with roles from priv-0 to priv-13 and log in, or log in to the switch using
AAA authentication where users with certain user levels are identified.
