These errors are reported when there are internal correctable conditions encountered during
operation, and the corrective action is taken. They do not necessarily indicated a problem with the
switch or module.
The following error can occur in cases of corrupted frames in the ingress path (due to a bad cable or
SFP). It does not necessarily indicated a problem with the switch hardware.
THB_IPA_IPA0_INTR_FLD_ERR_FROM_MEM : Warning
Workaround: This issue is resolved.

Symptom: Call Home indicates a successful transmission of a message when no message from a
profile is sent.
Workaround: This issue is resolved.

Symptom: A Cisco MDS 9000 switch displays the following message:
%PORT-5-IF_DOWN_LINK_FAILURE: %$VSAN <vs>%$ Interface <int> is down (Link
failure Link reset)
This messages is not descriptive as to why the link failed because a Link Reset (LR) by itself does
not inactivate a link to a down state.
This symptom occurs when an F port is congested and the Cisco MDS 9000 switch issues a Link
Reset to do buffer-to-buffer credit recovery.
Workaround: This issue is resolved.

Symptom: The show hardware fabric-mode command might not show the proper fabric mode on
a switch running Cisco NX-OS Release 5.2(6) or Release 5.2(6a) if Supervisor-2 modules are
installed. The output is correct when Supervisor-2A modules are installed.
On a Cisco MDS 9513 switch, the following message might be displayed:
Fabric mode supports only one configuration of Gen3 linecards - 4/44
host-optimized 8G FC linecard.
On a Cisco MDS 9506 switch and Cisco MDS 9509 switch, the following message might be
displayed:
Fabric mode does not support FCoE, Gen4 and above linecards.
If either of these messages appear, the fabric mode might still be in database (DB) mode if the switch
has Supervisor-2 modules.
This symptom occurs when Supervisor-2 modules (not Supervisor-2A modules) are installed and in
the case of a Cisco MDS 9513 switch, either a Fabric 2 or Fabric 3 module is installed.
Workaround: This issue is resolved.
