Symptom: Backups or recalls to a Fibre Channel attached SCSI tape or disk device might
experience failures with Cisco MDS 9200 or 9500 series switches that are configured for IO
Acceleration (IOA).
This symptom might be seen when more than 2090 bytes of the Fibre Channel frame data field are
used when IOA writes or reads data.
Workaround: This issue is resolved.

Symptom: A Cisco MDS 9000 16-Port Storage Services Node (SSN-16) periodically goes into a
state where it is constantly logs the following messages:

and output rate is 0 frames per second.
