Chapter 2 System Messages and Recovery Procedures for the Cisco MDS 9000 Family
Error Message DSTATS-3-PSS_SNAPSHOT_DEBUG_FAIL: pss snapshot runtime debug to
uri:[chars] failed due to error: [hex].
Explanation DSTATS failed to snapshot the persistent storage service (PSS) runtime debug to the
URI because of the reason shown in the error message.
Recommended Action Enter the show flash command or use a similar Fabric Manager/Device
Manager procedure to collect more information. See PSS system error codes in the output for the
cause of the PSS error.
