Chapter 2 System Messages and Recovery Procedures for the Cisco MDS 9000 Family
Error Message FCDOMAIN-2-NON_VIRTUAL_DOMS_CONFLICTS: During VSAN merge detected
conflict between two switches having the same non-virtual domain ID [dec] and the
same WWN [chars].
Explanation
Two switches have the same non-virtual domain ID and the same WWN.
Recommended Action Check which switches have the same WWN and change one to a unique WWN.
Then change the domain ID for one of the switches.

Error Message FCDOMAIN-2-PSSBIND_FAILED: Bind to Persistent Storage Service failed.
Explanation
The domain manager has not been able to contact the persistent storage service (PSS).
Recommended Action No action is required.

Error Message FCDOMAIN-2-RDIRJT: Rejected request for domain ID [dec], WWN requestor
[chars] (reason code [dec]).
Explanation An invalid request for domain IDs has been rejected by fcdomain.
Recommended Action Enter show fcdomain for all the switches in the affected VSAN. If a switch
does not have a valid current domain ID, configure the preferred domain ID zero, then enter the
fcdomain restart CLI command in the affected VSAN. You can alternatively use Fabric Manager
and/or Device Manager instead of the command line method.

Error Message FCDOMAIN-2-SDWRAPBIND_FAILED: Bind to Debug Server failed.
Explanation The domain manager has not been able to contact the history debug service. Any
problems occurring in the domain manager will not be logged to this debug history list.
