spanning-tree mst max-hops
To specify the number of possible hops in the region before a bridge protocol data unit (BPDU) is discarded,
use the spanning-tree mst max-hops command. To return to the default settings, use the no form of this
command.
spanning-tree mst max-hops hop-count
no spanning-tree mst max-hops
Syntax Description
Command Default 20 hops.

switch(config)# spanning-tree mst max-hops 25
Related Commands
hop-count Number of possible hops in the region before a BPDU is discarded; the range of valid
values is from 1 to 255 hops.
