HARDWARE Messages
Error Message HARDWARE-3-PORTNUM_ERROR: port number [dec] is invalid.
Explanation
The port number used is invalid (out of range). Each interface in a given port ASIC is
identified by an index value. [dec] is the port number.
Recommended Action Copy the message exactly as it appears on the console or in the system log.
