Ensure Bonjour, AirPrint, and IPP Printing is turned on. This can be done through the
product’s EWS on the Networking tab / Other Settings. See
Figure 4-16 Enabling Bonjour,
AirPrint™, and IPP Printing on page 138.

Ensure the Apple products meet these specifications:

Apple iOS 4.2 or greater
◦
iPhone 3GS or later
◦
iPad
◦
iPod Touch 3rd generation or later

On the General/Energy Settings tab, ensure All events or Network port is selected if Enable
Sleep/Auto Off Timer is selected. If Power button only is selected and the printer is in an Auto
off energy saving mode, the printer will not wake up and print an AirPrin™t job unless the power
button is pressed on the printer. See

NOTE: If a product is waking up, it may take several seconds to be able to print with AirPrint™.
