Paper type
The Type is drop-down menu shows all of the supported paper types. When you use the default
setting, Unspecified, the product uses the default paper type, which is usually Plain.
NOTE: Selecting a paper type instructs the product to use a group of predefined settings to create
the best possible print quality for that type of paper.
CAUTION: Selecting a paper type that does not match the type of paper that is loaded in the tray
can damage the product.
