The following is a list of observed print quality defects noted during product testing, coupled with potential solutions.

Solution
Electrical
Defects
Electrical defects, such as
ghosting may occur in very
dry conditions on all
weights and sizes of both
the current product and the
new replacement media.
Keeping media in a sealed
container until ready to use
or using media from a
freshly opened ream may
help reduce this defect.
Small White
Spots
Small white spots may be
noticeable at times on
some images on all weights
and sizes of both the
current product and the
new replacement media.
Ensure media is kept clean
and not left out in the
elements.
Stiffness
Banding
A dark band may be
displayed on media with
about 50 percent toner
coverage on some printers.
If in a dry environment,
keeping media in a sealed
container until ready for use
can help reduce frequency
of this defect.
