System setup menu
Use the SYSTEM SETUP menu to change product-conguration defaults such as sleep mode, product personality
(language), and jam recovery.
To display: Press the Menu button , select the CONFIGURE DEVICE menu, and then select the SYSTEM SETUP
menu.
NOTE: Values that have an asterisk (*) are the factory-default values. Some menu items have no default.

Set the correct date. The range for
the year is 2009 to 2037.

Choose the order in which the year,
month, and day appear in the date.

Select whether to use the 12 HOUR or
the 24 HOUR format.
JOB STORAGE LIMIT Continuous value
Range: 1–100
Default = 32
Specify the number of Quick Copy
jobs that can be stored on the
product.

1 HOUR
4 HOURS
1 DAY
1 WEEK
Set the amount of time that Quick
Copy jobs are kept before being
automatically deleted from the
queue. This menu item only appears
when a hard disk is installed.
SHOW ADDRESS AUTO
OFF*
Specify whether the product’s IP
address is shown on the display with
the Ready message.
QUIET MODE OFF*
ON
Reduce noise during printing. When
this setting is turned on, the product
prints at a slower speed.
TRAY BEHAVIOR Control how the product handles
paper trays and related prompts at
the control panel.
