Install the MFP Send Fax driver
The MFP Send Fax driver can be installed using either the HP Driver Installation Utility (HPDIU) or the
Windows Add Printer Wizard.
HP Driver Installation Utility (HPDIU)
To install the MFP Send Fax driver by using the HP Driver Installation Utility (HPDIU), use the following
steps:
1. In Windows Explorer, double-click the downloaded MFP Send Fax driver executable file to extract
the driver files.
2. Browse to the location of the MFP Send Fax driver executable file, and then click the
HPDIU.EXE file. The HP Driver Installation Utility (HPDIU) opens.
3. After reading the license agreement, click the Accept button to continue to the Device
Connection screen.

4. Select the Connect via the network option.

If the product's networking settings are known, you can enter either the Host Name, IP
Address, or the Hardware Address, and then click the Install button. Once the software is
installed, the Driver Installation Complete screen appears.

If the product's network settings are not known, click the Help me find my device on the
network button. A Discovery in Progress window appears. After the computer searches the
network, the Devices Found screen appears.
