Mac server sleep mode The ATTO Mac iSCSI Initiator does not support Mac server sleep mode. If sleep mode is enabled, and the Mac server goes to sleep, the initiator can lose iSCSI connectivity to the logical unit numbers (LUNs). If the ATTO Mac iSCSI Initiator is installed, disable Mac server sleep mode. Windows drops the IP connection Certain I/O workloads can cause Windows to drop the IP connection, resulting in removal of a LUN. To restore the IP connection, reboot the system.
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\Tcpip\Parameters] "Tcp1323Opts"=dword:00000002 Double-click the tcp1323opts.reg file to add the changes to the registry for the iSCSI initiator.
