HP B-series Fabric OS 7.1.0_blv Release Notes (5697-2827, September 2013)

NOTE: To upgrade from one level to another (for example from DCFM Professional Plus Software
to SAN Network Advisor Enterprise Software), you must first migrate from DCFM Professional Plus
to SAN Network Advisor Professional Plus and then purchase and apply the SAN Network
Professional Plus Upgrade.
Before Upgrading or Installing the Firmware
Fabric OS 7.1.0_blv is the initial release of the Brocade 16Gb SAN Switch for HP BladeSystem
c-Class.
Upgrade and Migration considerations
The Brocade 16Gb SAN Switch for HP BladeSystem c-Class must be running Fabric OS 7.1.0_blv
or a later version of this release.
Upgrade Procedure
After you locate the correct firmware to download to the Brocade 16Gb SAN Switch for HP
BladeSystem c-Class, you can use either the CLI or Web Tools to perform the download.
For specifics on how to perform the firmware download, refer to the following:
If you are using CLI to perform the download, see the "Installing and Maintaining Firmware"
chapter in the Fabric OS Administrator’s Guide.
If you are using Web Tools to perform the download, see the "Maintaining Configurations
and Firmware" chapter in the Web Tools Administrator’s Guide.

in multiple paths to the LUN each using different DEKs.
Before enabling the LUN on a Path (Crypto Target
Container) which was disabled, make sure that LUN is not
already enabled on another path (Crypto Target
Container). First delete the LUN that was in disabled state
and add back the LUN to that Crypto Target Container
with the same policies as for the other path of the LUN.
