Default values for communities are as follows:

• 1 (Secret Code)

• 2 (OrigEquipMfr)

• 3 (private)

• 4 (public)

• 5 (common)

• 6 (FibreChannel)

Community strings 1-3 are read-write and strings 4-6 are read-only.

You can change the community setting using the snmpconfig command.
